Shelley Price Draper

Kelowna Counsellor Shelley Price Draper

Shelley Price Draper, MSW, RSW is a talented, empathic professional who utilizes a variety of treatment approaches and skills-based therapies in her counselling work.

Background
Shelley’s 15-year career includes counselling youth and adults with alcohol and drug addiction and/or mental health and behavioural challenges. She has worked extensively with individuals of all ages who are struggling in response to trauma, change, anxiety and depression; as well as children and youth on the autism spectrum. Shelley also counsels employees facing challenges in the workplace and couples with relationship issues.

In addition to her private counselling practice, Shelley has worked in institutional settings and provides contract services to social service organizations, school boards, the youth justice system and psychiatric hospitals.

A speaker to professional groups, service clubs and faith organizations, Shelley shares her knowledge and insight in a number of topic areas including:

Shelley is a Registered Social Worker (RSW #10008) with the British Columbia College of Social Workers and a member of the British Columbia Association of Social Workers.

Community
Shelley is active in her community through participation in peer associations and development forums and is a committed volunteer. A frequent collaborator, Shelley partners with colleagues on individual client cases, where invited, and co-facilitates adult, youth and family therapy groups.
